The twelfth chapter of the book of Joshua narrates all the Kings Joshua and the people of Israel had defeated and given their land to the tribes of Israel. So much had been done and we are right to say that they had experienced much blessings.
However, at the time the Israelites thought they had more than enough, God spoke to Joshua, telling him that much more was on the way. “and there remaineth yet very much land to be possessed.” (Joshua 13: 1c). In the same way, there are times we have been so much blessed to a point of thinking we do not need much more.
To the contrary, God is reminding us that there are still much more blessings to be possessed. But remember, blessings do not just come to us anyhow. There are principals for acquiring more spiritual blessings. These include, conflicts, God’s command, prayers and faith.
